Flan découpé au burin, irrégulier un peu court. Le droit est presque complet avec une faiblesse de frappe sur le bas à droite. Le revers présente une belle croix, mais avec trois cantons hors flan. Patine de collection ancienne avec des traces d’écrouissages au revers

Obverse description : Tête à gauche, la chevelure en épaisses mèches en forme d’esses.

Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Reverse description : Croix à quatre cantons, non bouletée : globule dans un entourage perlé aux 1er et 4e canton ; un triskèle dans le second et une hache bouletée au 3e canton.

Commentary

Si trois cantons sont hors flan au revers, le triskèle est particulièrement bien venu, avec une belle composition et une finesse inhabituelle.
