Commentary


Georges V fut le dernier roi de Hanovre. En 1866, suite à son soutien à l’Autriche, la Hanovre est envahit puis annexé par la Prusse.

(1851-1866)

Georges V is the son of Ernest Auguste of Hanover and Frederique, Princess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. He became King of Hanover on the death of his father on November 18, 1851 but was dethroned in 1866. He died in Paris in 1878.
