Son of Trajan Decius - Augustus

Hostilien became august just before his father left to fight against the Goths where he was to die. His title of august was confirmed to him by Trebonian Gallus. Volusian, son of Trebonian was named Caesar. Hostilian died of the plague in late summer or fall 251.
