LUXEMBOURG - DUCHY OF LUXEMBOURG - ANTOINE DE BOURGOGNE, TENANT OF CROWN LANDS

(1412-1415)

Antoine (1384-1415) was the brother of Jean sans Peur. He was Duke of Brabant (1406-1414). He had married in 1409 Elisabeth (1390-1451), the daughter of Sigismund of Hungary (1368-1437). Luxembourg fell to him after the ousting of Wenceslas IV of Bohemia in 1412. He was killed at the Battle of Agincourt.
