Caesar

Maxime is the son of Maximin and Pauline. In 236 he received the title of Caesar and that of Prince of Youth. After the victory of Maximin I Thrace over the Germans, he is associated with his father who receives the title of Germanicus. Maximus was assassinated with his father, near Aquileia, around April 15, 238.
