Commentary

La scène du revers est un symbole de vigilance. En effet, la cigogne ayant la patte levée est celle qui veille sur les autres : si elle s’endort, la patte s’ouvre et laisse choir la pierre ce qui réveille les cigognes. Ce symbolisme sera ultérieurement utilisé pour les jetons des Lieutenants de Police.
