Monnaie sur un flan court, de frappe très molle au droit mais vigoureuse au revers. Épaisse patine sombre

Commentary

Avec un tel poids, ce genre de monnaie correspond plus à une obole qu’à un denier. Pour le denier B. 5716, A. de Belfort propose une dégénérescence d'un animal pour le motif indéterminé du droit. Il serait aussi possible d’y voir un monogramme composé des lettres J et F.
