Exemplaire sur un petit flan irrégulier, bien centré. Beau portrait de Procope. Joli revers de style fin. Belle patine vert foncé

Reverse description : Procope, vêtu militairement debout de face tourné à gauche tournant la tête à droite, tenant l’étendard de la main droite et s'appuyant sur un bouclier de la main gauche ; dans le champ en haut à droite, un chrisme.

Reverse translation : “Reparatio Felicitas Temporum”, (Le retour des temps heureux).

Commentary

Poids très. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Ptéryges fines sous le paludamentum. Chrisme normal dans le champ à droite. Étendard timbré d’un astre à huit rais. Bouclier orné d’un umbo central rayonnant. C’est le deuxième exemplaire signalé pour cette officine. Manque aux ouvrages consultés. De la plus grande rareté.
