Obverse description : Allégorie féminine drapée marchant à droite tenant une corne d'abondance renversée sur l'épaule droit. Signé : HANS FRE.

Reverse description : Figure masculine nageant, avec le lever du soleil derrière, soulevant une figure féminine semi-nue d'en bas. Signé : HANS FREI.

Commentary

Cette médaille était offerte pour célébrer des actes d’héroïsme et suite à des sauvetages. La première médaille fut remise en 1911 et elle continue d’être remise encore à ce jour, bien que le design de la médaille soit différent.
