Coments on the condition:
Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, bien centré des deux côtés. Beaux portraits. Joli revers bien venu à la frappe. Patine gris foncé avec des reflets dorés

Reverse description : Aigle volant à gauche attaquant un dauphin.

Commentary
Les monnaies divisionnaires sont en fait beaucoup plus rares que les drachmes, en particulier l’hémiobole. Revers légèrement stylisé.
Historical background
THRACE - ISTROS
(4th - 2nd century BC)
Istros, a Milesian colony, located equidistant from Callatis and the mouths of the Danube, is in Lower Moesia. The Greek name gave its Latin name to the Danube (Danuvius). The two juvenile heads, comparable to the Dioscuri (Gemini), represent the mouths of the Danube (Ister).
