Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle pour ce type de monnayage avec un très beau portrait réaliste et un revers de haut relief. Flan légèrement éclaté à 6 heures au droit. Revers inhabituel de style fin. Jolie patine gris métallique avec des reflets dorés et rougeâtres

Reverse description : Mars casqué, vêtu militairement, marchant à droite, tenant une haste transversale de la main droite et un bouclier de la main gauche.
Reverse translation : “Martem Propugnatorem”, (Pour Mars protecteur).
Commentary
Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Ptéryges fines sous le paludamentum. Portrait particulier pour l’atelier d’Antioche. Pour ce type, il y avait six antoniniens dans le trésor d’Éauze.
