Commentary


Cette obole n’a pas pu être attribuée à un atelier précis faute de présenter une légende complètement lisible. Il faut probablement y voir le fruit d’un atelier du Poitou ou de Touraine. Des oboles unifaces avec une croix cantonnée de quatre globules portant la légende MEAL TEODERICO. On connaît aussi des deniers attribués à Melle ou à Poitiers avec une croix cantonnée de quatre globules.
