Poids très lourd. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Ptéryges invisibles sous le paludamentum.

Valens, after having been proclaimed august by his brother, receives the charge of governing the East. Since Decius, he is the first emperor killed in battle by the Goths in Adrianople, August 9, 378.
