Ce denier présente un manque de métal et est frappé sur un flan voilé. Exemplaire recouvert d’une patine grise hétérogène

Commentary
Le revers est connu pour Pépin le Bref, mais n’était pas connu pour Charlemagne. Cette monnaie inédite, et probablement, unique, constitue l’un des maillons manquant du monnayage de Quentovic qui cessa sous le roi capétien Robert II.
