Cette obole est frappée sur un flan large et légèrement irrégulier. La croix du revers apparaît en négatif au droit. Monnaie présentant de hauts reliefs et recouverte d’une patine grise de médaillier

Commentary

D. Legros date cette monnaie anonyme de la première moitié du XIIe siècle en l’attribuant à Thibaut IV le Grand. Un exemplaire était notamment présent dans le trésor de Montfort-l’Amaury enfoui vers 1120-1125.
