Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très belle tête d’Athéna. Joli revers de style fin. Très belle patine verte, légèrement granuleuse

(4th century BC)

Sigea was located near a promontory at the entrance to the Hellespont. This place was said to have hosted the tomb of Achilles. Aeolian colony, it was often disputed between Athens and Mytilene. Sigea received Hippias after his departure from Athens. She joined the Delos League.
